Brooks Running - Custom AR App Solution

At Subvrsive, I joined forces with Brooks Running's partner agency to tackle a challenge: how to effectively communicate the advanced technology in Brooks shoes to runners through experiential activations at events.

By collaborating with my development and creative teams, we devised an ingenious solution – blending state-of-the-art AR with charming, hand-drawn animations to enliven the Brooks Running booth space. The outcome? An enjoyable, approachable experience that captivated and educated runners of all ages. Beyond the core experience, we also created pull-up banners as sales tools, so the solution could be utilized wherever Brooks Running shoes are sold.

The Brooks Running AR app and activation delivered an immersive experience that captivated event attendees and boosted customer engagement. Drawing in substantial foot traffic, the app successfully facilitated education on the innovative DNA Loft technology in Brooks running shoes, leading to a notable increase in sales. At the event, we saw a remarkable uptick in customer sign-ups, demonstrating the effectiveness of the AR experience in connecting with new and existing Brooks customers. This inventive, in-person AR activation not only amplified brand awareness but also played a pivotal role in driving sales of Brooks Running shoes featuring DNA Loft technology.
